About Marie Ab Mare

Marie Ab Mare PublishingMarie Ab Mare Publishing has been published quality short fiction since 2011. In 2013 we added full length novels to our line-up and are steadily moving forward, increasing our inventory. We focus on publishing strong stories. As a result, our inventory contains a variety of non-mainstream, quirky fiction that is different from the mass market geared generic genre fiction. If you’re looking for something with a new, fresh, independent take, try some of our titles.

As a two person operation with limited resources we are always learning and seeking to improve the quality of our artwork and formatting. There is a lot to this business and it ranges from original artwork to quality writing to marketing savvy and website design. We know we aren’t masters of all these fields, but that does not stop us from giving it all our best go.

We distribute e-books through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords. We also have some of our longer titles available in print through Createspace and, hopefully soon, on the shelves of a bookstore near you.

What we lack in mass market appeal, we try to make up for in quality, original stories. We are not trying to turn into the next overnight success story, we just want to provide quality entertainment to our customers for a fair price.

Thank you for visiting our website. Feel free to browse around, drop a comment or two, or send us an email. We’d love to hear from you.

  1. Your favorite Latin teacher

I’ll be calling you to see how you set this up. I really like Upper Management. Also there is a magazine that specializes in light verse that I have just subscribed to. You might submit the Hemingway poem – is there a typo in it? Love your beloved auntie who taught you Latin.
“Well traveled throughout the coasts of the United States, as well as the Caribbean” – forsooth.

  2. There was a typo, thank you (I went through that almost a hundred times! How do they get past?)

And I think well traveled is quite appropriate after six years of popping around. Although I must say, it’s not the years, its the mileage! Haha.

What do you think?
